With Hair and Makeup being her hobby as a teen, she began beautifying friends for proms and school events, always finding joy in making others feel beautiful.
From that little hobby she got her start in the beauty industry working cosmetic retail for MAC Cosmetics which cultivated the opportunity to leave California and do makeup in Atlanta,Ga.
After a few years in Atlanta, she made her return to The Bay Area to find that the tech movement had changed so much of what she once remembered. Still, her passion for the beauty industry was strong and with help and connections she had from her community she was able to do hair and makeup for such artists as Kehlani, Goapele, ESPN shows "THE JUMP" & "FIRST TAKE", Press days for studio executives at Pixar along with countless e-commerce clothing retail sites.
All of this was achieved before she was even a licensed cosmetologist.
She decided to take her career further by getting her cosmetology license and it was during her time in school that she realized how much she loved the salon environment. She loved coming to a space regularly where she could work with a team of like minded and creative individuals. But more so, she loved cultivating and fostering client relationships that instilled and strengthened their confidence.
Her ability to connect with people and encourage them to push their boundaries in regards to their image is something that can't be taught. It is what makes her artistry one of a kind.
